Using Uncertainty Analysis to Improve Project Direction

In this webinar, we will introduce the basics of uncertainty analysis to gain clear insights on project directions. Using a simple Excel spreadsheet, we will demonstrate a standard workflow of uncertainty analysis tools, including:  

• Tornado sensitivity plots

• Decision trees

• Cumulative probability plots 

We will demonstrate techniques to compare results between different strategies and show ideas for developing and evaluating improved hybrid strategies that are based on the insights. The analysis will be run live, rather than in slides to keep it just that little bit more stimulating.  

We will finish the webinar by showing the same analysis using Monte Carlo analysis techniques to compare and contrast the tools.
