Decision Framing Project Management Workshop

Do you want to assist your project teams to function at peak efficiency? Do you want to avoid getting bogged down in project decisions?

This three-day workshop introduces decision framing fundamentals that help managers and teams distinguish and address different types of project issues.

Through work with case studies and with their own problems, participants learn to:

  • Define the problem.
  • Focus the problem.
  • Identify project risks and uncertainties that can make it difficult to choose the best option.
  • Structure the alternatives to be considered.
  • Use scenarios to test the impact of each alternative.

The keys to this workshop are:

  • Repetition: Participants work through seven decision frames, increasing their skills with each iteration.

  • Relevance: The seven cases consist of three appropriate predefined problems drawn from the spheres of general business, energy, and pharmaceuticals. The other four cases are actual problems faced by workshop participants.

  • Ease of Use: The industry-standard decision framing software tool DTrio® is provided with the course. DTrio guides project managers through the decision framing workflow to ensure quality and efficiency.
