Decision Framing for Project Management
This project focused course provides project managers, managers, teams
distinguish and address projects issues, for example, working with case
studies and selected problems; course participants learn to:
- Define the problem.
- Focus the problem.
- Identify project risks and uncertainties that can make it difficult to choose the best option.
- Structure the alternatives to be considered.
- Use scenarios to test the impact of each alternative.
The keys to this workshop are:
Repetition: Participants work through seven decision frames, increasing their skills with each iteration.
The seven cases consist of three appropriate predefined problems drawn
from the spheres of general business, energy, and pharmaceuticals. The
other four cases are actual problems faced by workshop participants.
